About Us
Insights North East (INE ) is a new project led by Newcastle University and delivered via a core partnership with the NHS, North of Tyne Combined Authority Newcastle City Council and Northumbria University.
While INE’s work is focused on the North East region we will also draw on the learning and good practice from other places in the UK and beyond by partnering with other initiatives such as CAPE (Capabilities in Academic Policy Engagement) and the Civic University Network. Our vision is for INE to become a national demonstrator for how universities can contribute to place-based policy making.
