Engaging with community power via co-production provides new opportunities for public consultation. Consultation can be the ‘first step’ of a dynamic strategy for planning and policy with place-based communities in the North East. This briefing is based on findings from a research project that analysed the role of ‘community power’ for ‘just transitions’ in the North East.
