What can be done differently to secure more inclusion-rich approaches and outcomes from investments in industrial districts? Our recent policy briefing focusses on the findings of a research programme on the Helix Industrial District in Newcastle. The briefing sets out a working definition of what inclusive innovation is and identifies actionable outcomes for policy development development by which should be considered in the design and development of innovation plans and strategies where inclusion concerns are likely to be prominent.
