2023-2024 has been a year of substantial growth for Insights North East. In the past year, INE has worked hand in hand with the region’s policy makers to understand their policy questions and draw out actionable insights from the evidence base. We have taken on a number of policy challenges to support policy partners in their work to tackle many of its significant and long-standing social and economic challenges. With just under two years running, we are proud to showcase our impact in this report and our progress towards bridging the gap between research and place-based policymaking.
