Join Insights North East and Northumbria University for an engaging event exploring the key barriers to business growth in the North East and how we can address them to enable more inclusive growth across the region.
A recent study by researchers at Newcastle Business School, Northumbria Univeristy, highlights that access to finance, people and technology are often the most significant constraints facing SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) seeking to grow and scale. If the region is to prosper further, we need a clearer understanding of these structural challenges and the choices available to businesses and policymakers in responding to them.
This event will bring together local SMEs, entrepreneurs and policymakers to discuss the finance, talent and technology decisions shaping business growth, and to consider how business support and policy interventions can more effectively help firms overcome these barriers. Participants will also hear insights from an expert panel and contribute to a forward-looking discussion on strengthening inclusive growth in the North East
